Our goal is to ensure that every student receives the benefits from a quality music education regardless of their family’s financial situation.To achieve our mission, we generate revenue primarily through fundraisers and donations received from generous individuals and businesses in our community. The average band program fee is $150 to $200, which can be particularly difficult for families with more than one performer and/or modest means. Since these fees do not cover all of the music program’s expenses, families are often faced with raising their own funds to help offset expenses.


MdN Band Booster activities provide support for:
· Student scholarships
· Concert tour expenses
· Jazz festival expenses
· Instrument repair
· Music technician fees
· Marching band uniform dry cleaning
· Food expenses for marching band and middle school feeder events
· Senior Recognition Night boutonnieres
· City of Tempe and Town of Guadalupe Veterans and holiday parades
· Percussion competition fees and supplies
· Clinics
· Activities that help develop or celebrate student success in music
