If you are interested in becoming a volunteer with the Marcos de Niza Padre bands working with the students, you will need to complete the Tempe Union High School District (TUHSD) volunteer process.
Volunteers who are willing to work in concessions or serve food at band events will need to complete an Arizona Food Handlers accreditation training and receive a food handler card. Arizona Tax Credit Program
The Arizona Tax Credit Program (A.R.S. 43-1089.01) allows any Arizona taxpayer to donate up to $400* to a school of their choice in support of extracurricular programs and get their entire donation back in the form of a tax credit. The new deadline of April 15 takes effect next year, people who donate by April 15 can choose which calendar year they want to apply the credits. For example, a donation made in April 2016 can be applied to either 2015 or 2016. *Individuals and couples filing jointly may take advantage of this tax credit.
